SCCI-The
Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry (Pakistan) is a trade body, which
was established in 1982. It comprises of industrialists, importers and exporters
belonging to the various fields.
The
number of members of this Chamber for the year 2003-2004 is approx. 4700. Most
of them are connected with sports, Surgical, Gloves, Leather Garments, Badges,
Musical Instruments, Judo Karate Uniforms, Accessories, Knives & Cutlery etc

Sialkot has developed as one of the leading export cities in Pakistan where development
of local cottage industries has assumed a model status for the developing world.
The city is dotted with thousands of small and medium enterprises which are engrossly
engaged in production and export of value added quality products including surgical
instruments, sports goods, leather products, textiles, martial arts uniforms and
accessories, musical instruments, knives and cutlery items and badges etc., amounting
to US$ 700 (M) per annum. The
Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the apex trade body in the City,
was established in 1982 for promotion of business activities and to help and support
the local business community in its endeavors of export growth. The Sialkot Chamber
of Commerce & Industry has also been fulfilling its social responsibilities
by actively involving in the following projects.
